Your Basement Remodeling Journey
1. Schedule a free in-home consultation to discuss your specific needs and layout options
2. Our team will get to work right away to prepare a base proposal and rough layout for your basement
3. We will go over any adjustments, changes, or upgrades to the project
4. Once the design is finalized, we will sign a contract and accept a deposit payment
5. We will begin to obtain all necessary permits within the appropriate city/county
6. During this waiting period - you will begin to pick out your finishes, such as bath faucets, cabinetry, flooring, paint, etc. Don't worry - we will provide you with a timeline for all your selections
7. Once permits are approved, we will meet at your home for a pre-construction meeting. At that time, we will discuss and address any last-minute details or changes
8. Materials will be delivered, and construction begins
9. After framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins are completed, county inspectors will visit the site to ensure code compliance prior to insulation and drywall hanging and finishing
10. After drywall, all finishes will be installed, including trim, tile, cabinetry, flooring and painting
11. Subcontractors will install plumbing, electrical, and HVAC finishes
12. County inspectors will complete all final inspections
13. Walkthrough with the customer to identify any additional concerns or add-ons
14. Final punch list, touch-ups, and post-construction cleaning
15. The project is complete.
