Absolutely. Whenever adding living space to your home, it is imperative to obtain the proper building permits and make your project safe and code-compliant.

We at Bay Area Basements are licensed and insured, and we pull all of our permits ourselves through your county/city code enforcement office.

Each project's timeframe is unique and will vary based on the scope of work. Most of our projects take between 5 and 7 weeks from start to finish.

To ensure the timely completion of your project and minimize disruption to your home, we will be at your project every day, Monday through Friday, until the project is completed.

Our employees will be building your project from start to finish. Electricians, plumbers and HVAC mechanics will be the only subcontractors on your project, and we will ensure that a Bay Area Basements employee is on the project at all times.

We are proud to offer an industry-leading 5-year warranty on all of our craftsmanship, as well as installation. Most of our products are warrantied for at least that amount of time or more.

As each project is unique in size and scope, our prices can vary widely. We are happy to provide you with a no-cost estimate, and our estimate is good for 30 days.
